General Requirements

Akhtar Saeed University welcomes applications from qualified students who demonstrate academic excellence and a commitment to learning. Our admission requirements are designed to ensure that all students are well-prepared for the rigorous academic programs we offer.

Below you will find the specific requirements for admission to our various undergraduate and graduate programs.

Program-Specific Requirements

Undergraduate Programs

  • Intermediate (HSSC/A-Level) with minimum 50% marks
  • Valid entrance test score (MDCAT/ECAT/SAT)
  • Domicile certificate
  • Character certificate from previous institution
  • Medical fitness certificate
  • CNIC/B-Form and passport-size photographs

Graduate Programs

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 2.5 CGPA or 50% marks
  • Valid GAT-General score (for non-medical programs)
  • Professional work experience (if applicable)
  • Research proposal (for research programs)
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Statement of purpose

Medical Programs (MBBS/BDS)

  • FSc Pre-Medical with minimum 60% marks
  • Valid MDCAT score as per PMC requirements
  • Age: 17-25 years at the time of admission
  • Medical fitness as per PMC standards
  • Domicile/residency certificate
  • Affidavit for not enrolled in other medical college

International Students

  • Equivalence certificate from IBCC/HEC
  • Valid passport and student visa
  • English proficiency test (IELTS/TOEFL)
  • Academic transcripts (attested)
  • Police clearance certificate
  • Health insurance and medical examination report

Important Notes

All documents must be submitted in original along with attested copies at the time of admission. The university reserves the right to verify all submitted documents and may request additional documentation if required.

Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Selection is based on merit, test scores, and availability of seats in the respective programs.
